Thanks for the article! Here are my few concerns with React Native:

  • A much smaller community as compared to native iOS
  • Debugging tools are a complete joke
  • Extremely hard to integrate third party native Objective-C or Swift controls
  • Playing a cat and mouse game with native iOS. Apple will release new framework and then it will take time for React Native to catch up
  • Facebook might kill it .. remember Parse.
  • Legal issues regarding React Native

Having said that! I believe that future is for Hybrid frameworks like Ionic. Companies are not willing to pay twice for the app if they can get a mediocre app for the price of one.
