WOW! Another year has passed and now I feel even older. The year 2016 has been a very good year for me. Here are some of the highlights.

Puerto Rico:

Anyone who is close to me knows that my first love is travelling. I love to go to different places and explore the beautiful scenery as well as the culture of the destination. This year I was fortunate enough to visit Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is an amazing place to visit if you like history and vibrant culture. Apart from the Old San Juan and many different fortes Puerto Rico also have tons of natural beautiful including Rain Forests.

The world’s 6th most beautiful beach is also located in Puerto Rico called Flamenco Beach and I was very lucky to get the tickets to visit this unbelievable beach.

The Iron Yard:

Shortly after I came back from Puerto Rico, I decided to join The Iron Yard as an iOS Instructor. I am the first mobile instructor at The Iron Yard Houston and have already completed two successful cohorts. The Iron Yard is the best company I have worked for which, deeply cares about the quality of education the students receive to build their career. I am still amazed at my students who were not only able to learn the technology in 12 weeks but also created unbelievable iOS applications.

Speaking:

I did a quite a few speaking engagements in 2016. Here is the list:

For me the biggest adventure in attending the conferences is to meet new people. I was fortunate to meet awesome people like Tammy Coron, Angela Scott, Janie Clayton, Jeff Roberts, Juliana Salgado, Craig and learn a great deal from them.

Apps:

This year I released quite a few apps in the iMessages category. Here is the list of all the apps:

Udemy Courses:

I have been Udemy Instructor for the past couple of years. I like the idea of self publishing technology courses. Here is the list of my 2016 courses.

Binary Kids:

Apart from the development for adults, I also started a website to teach kids about programming. You can watch the videos on www.binarykids.org.

AzamSharp YouTube Channel:

AzamSharp YouTube Channel is where I publish free iOS development videos along with the coupons to my Udemy courses. I highly recommend that you subscribe to it.

2017:

I am looking forward to the year 2017, which starts off with my speaking engagement in Mexico City for NSCoderMexico. I am really excited about visiting Mexico City and have been greeted by the developer community with open arms.
